child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs
the
companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering
with him the joy, excitement and mystery of the world we
live in.” This quote encapsulates my vision of teaching
at Lake Ridge. At Lake Ridge children’s innate curiosity
and excitement of the world is nurtured and used as a catalyst
for the discovery of new ideas, interests and understanding.
Through this shared experience we are better able to keep
alive the inborn sense of wonder that we have all, teachers
and students, experienced at some point in our lives."
