Lake Ridge Academy is strongly committed to our financial aid program, and believes financial resources should not be a barrier to enrollment. In fact, nearly half of our students receive some form of financial assistance. We do not consider a family's finances when we make our admission decisions. We view need-based financial aid as an investment in our students.
Financial aid is provided to families who demonstrate financial need. Awards are allocated on an annual basis after a review of the family's financial information. Families must reapply each year for continued eligibility, but can expect a continuation of support at a similar level if a student remains in good standing (academically, behaviorally, and financially) at Lake Ridge Academy, and if the financial status of the family remains consistent.
If you are applying to Lake Ridge Academy, and wish to be considered
for financial aid, grants, or merit scholarships, please complete the
TADS online application at www.tads.com.
Scholarships, based on academic merit and leadership abilities, are
available to students entering grades 6 through 11 and are for up to
$10,000 per year. These awards will continue through graduation and will not be altered, augmented, or replaced provided the student maintains his/her academic eligibility. In addition, several donors have
provided restricted and endowed scholarships to assist qualifying
students in obtaining a Lake Ridge Academy education. The guidelines
vary for each scholarship. These scholarship awards need not be repaid.
Grants are based upon a combination of: demonstrated need, academic
performance, and/or contributions to leadership, service, or extra
curricular activities. They are offered to students Kindergarten through
grade 12. Grants are reviewed annually, based upon the funding available, and
need not be repaid.
Lake Ridge Academy families are eligible to receive additional tuition discounts through our Family Referral Program. Refer a family by downloading the Parent Referral Form (located on the left hand side), completing the information, and submitting the card to the Admission Office.
