SoFA Graduates Accepted to Elite Song Writing Program
Congratulations to School of Fine Arts students Callie Sullivan and Olivia Miraldi on their enrollment in the highly competitive song writing program at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Belmont is home to the only AACSB International accredited Music Business program in the world. The song writing program only accepts 20 students out of thousands of applicants worldwide and two Lake Ridge Academy graduates will be attending. Read more.
Students Win Science Scholarships at State Competition
Last week four Lake Ridge Academy students exhibited their projects at the 65th annual State Science Day. More than 1,267 science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) students in grades 5–12 exhibited their projects at The Ohio State University. Students from 301 schools competed for more than $4.5 million in scholarships and awards. Read more.
Lake Ridge Academy Celebrates Student Athletic Signings
The Lake Ridge Academy Athletic Department held a signing ceremony May 16 to recognize four senior athletes who will be competing at the college level in the fall. All four students will be playing basketball for their respective schools. Parents, faculty, coaches and teammates joined Athletic Director Debby Ghezzi to honor the student athletes. “We are very proud of these athletes and their accomplishments at Lake Ridge Academy and look forward to following their college athletic careers,” Ghezzi said.
