"Congratulations" to Middle School MathCounts
Team
Lake Ridge Academy's 2002 Middle School MathCounts
team placed second in the county. The team was comprised of eighth
graders Max and Simon
Kornblith (Oberlin), seventh graders Sara
Perez (Sandusky) and Andrew Rathbone
(Elyria).
Winning first place in the individual for MathCounts
Lorain County competition was Max Kornblith.
Max placed seventh in Ohio State competition and was also the eighth
grade school winner of the American Mathematics Competition held
earlier.
The four Lake Ridge Middle School team members move
on to the state competition to be held in Columbus.
