Direct instruction is essential in developing effective and independent student use of technology. Lake Ridge Academy has a reputation as a school that "does tech right." Our technology curriculum is based on sound understanding of students' cognitive development in a "hands-on/heads-on" approach. It supports various and diverse curriculum areas in an interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning. As the long-range plan for technology continues to evolve, the curriculum will change to take advantage of new resources.
