Lake Ridge Academy has two Library Media Centers—one for the Lower School and one for the Middle & Upper Schools—both of which are located in the Community Resource Center. The two libraries share 10,000 square feet of space and are separated by the circulation desk and the Kiva. This special oval-shaped amphitheater is a superb venue for group gatherings and classes.
The mission of our Library Media Centers is to ensure that students, faculty, staff, and other community members become effective users of ideas and information. Our library media program provides access to print, online, and other sources of information. The library media programs are integrated within the school's curriculum and emphasize a love of reading and learning.
