College Placement
Our college placement program is as complete as our academic curriculum is rigorous. Starting in junior year, our director of college counseling works closely with every student to find the college or university that best suits that individual’s talents, strengths, and needs. Students also receive individual assistance in completing applications. In addition, extensive college admissions materials are available to students and dozens of representatives from colleges nationwide visit Lake Ridge Academy every year.
In 2008, our graduating class of 40 students received 97 acceptances from colleges and universities and was awarded $4 million in four-year academic scholarships. Ninety percent of those students also received early acceptance at the colleges of their choice.
