Celebrated Community
A strong sense of community and support extends beyond our classrooms. Lake Ridge Academy is a welcoming and fully connected family of faculty, students, parents, and alumni. Everyone works together to ensure the successful advancement of students, alumni, and organizational objectives.
We are also proud to say that our community is more diverse than that of any other independent school in Cleveland—35 percent, including 23 international students. We attract top students from around the world, giving our students exposure to a number of cultures and philosophies. And because diversity breeds diversity, it’s a powerful way to help students become open to cultures, perspectives, and beliefs.
The Facts
- Our 359-member student body is comprised of numerous different ethnicities and backgrounds.
- Upper School students participate in a house system. Each student belongs to one of four houses that include faculty-led, cross-grade advisory systems. The houses facilitate curricular learning while providing integrated social community building.
- We’re proud to say that 100 percent of our students participate in community service programs, all of which are voluntary. Efforts include Relay for Life, food donations, and donations to United Children’s Fund.
