Welcome to the LRA Parents’ Association homepage. The purpose of the Parents’ Association shall be:

  • To promote unity and educational excellence through active parental participation and involvement.

  • To establish and maintain an information network among parents and the LRA faculty, staff, and Board of Trustees.
  • To provide multiple opportunities for volunteer service and support of programs leading to the enrichment of Lake Ridge Academy.
  • To provide financial support and resources that will fund social events and supplement student activities, organizations, curriculum, and capital improvements.

We welcome every parent, and invite and encourage your participation in the Lake Ridge Academy Parents’ Association!

Volunteerism over the years has been a key to the success of our organization. A wealth of talent and skill exists within our community. We invite parents, grandparents and alumni to join us and work with us. Your involvement in your child’s education remains one of the keys to your child’s success. Our membership is made up of all parents and guardians of students.

Come to the monthly meetings and see the variety of ways we help our Lake Ridge students and faculty! The LRA Parents’ Association welcomes all families to attend their general meetings. Meetings are held about once a month. Every effort is being made to streamline our meetings as well as to present interesting information about the Lake Ridge community. This year we are intentionally varying meeting times so that parents with obligations might find a convenient time to attend (send us an email to tell us what time is best for you!). The executive board chooses topics for the year. Your feedback on meeting time and topics are invited.

The involvement of parents, grandparents and alumni is critical to our success. To become involved, come to meetings, join a committee, or volunteer to work on events and projects. Please feel free to contact any member of the executive board or committee chairs/appointment heads to get involved.
