Endowments
Endowments are created through philanthropy and provide permanent support by generating an annual stream of revenue for Lake Ridge Academy. Over the years, endowment funds grow in value through sound investment and provide a major source of supplemental income, without ever using the principal of the gift. Endowments reduce the dependence upon tuition income and make it possible to sustain long-term commitments to faculty, students, academic programs, and facility improvements.
A well-built endowment will allow for continued growth and expansion of services while at the same time providing necessary annual income to augment revenue and sustain innovative curricular and co-curricular offerings.

Chairs
Endowed chairs fuel advances in education by providing a permanent, annual source of income to fund areas of importance, support the retention and recruitment of preeminent teachers, recognize and honor a teacher for outstanding contributions, and provide a perpetual income stream for leading-edge teaching practices.
Lectureships
Endowed lectureships help bring renowned speakers to Lake Ridge Academy to share their expertise and knowledge with our staff, students, and the community at large. Endowed lectureships can be designated for the Diversity Forum Programming, the Humanities Symposium, or the Burton D. Morgan Entrepreneurial Studies Program.
Funds – General and Designated
You can make a gift of any amount to support the general endowment or establish a named fund for a specific interest or area you wish to support.
