The 50th Anniversary Campaign is a comprehensive fundraising initiative that will help Lake Ridge Academy accomplish its strategic planning goals and jump start some of the Vision Beyond 50 objectives.
Every gift made between July 1, 2010 and December 31, 2017 will count in the 50th Anniversary Campaign.
Every gift makes a difference for students and teachers.

The Annual Fund continues to be the most important fundraising priority at Lake Ridge Academy. Since tuition covers just 75% of a student's education, the Annual Fund serves as the primary resource for the distinctive learning experiences for which Lake Ridge Academy is known.
Scholarships are important to 40% of Lake Ridge Academy's students and families who depend on donor-funded scholarships for a portion of their educational experience. Growing scholarship support funded by donors has been the single biggest factor in the school's enrollment growth in recent years (Lake Ridge Academy has been the fastest growing independent school in the State of Ohio for five consecutive years).
Faculty enrichment opportunities allow our Upper School teachers to maintain their AP course certification, introduce new subject matter into the K-12 curriculum (e.g. robotics, biomimicry), and incorporate the latest research into their teaching methodologies. Head of Academics Mike Shaulis and his wife, Sarah, have designated a major portion of their own campaign commitment to this purpose.
Endowment funds provide long-term sustainability for all aspects of the school. Donors may designate their gifts to a specific area of the campus or leave their endowed gifts unrestricted to provide support for the school as a whole in perpetuity.
The Center for Science and Engineering is a planned facility that will serve as one of the key implementation steps for successfully launching a second center of excellence in science as part of Vision Beyond 50 at Lake Ridge Academy. The Center for Science and Engineering will provide more and cutting-edge laboratory space for all students, devoted research project space for our impassioned Institute for Scientific Research students, and incorporate many green elements for enhanced learning opportunities. This building will enhance the Center for Scientific Exploration and Research to bring robotics, biomimicry, engineering and other subjects to our existing K-12 curriculum to prepare students for a number of college majors and careers.
The 50th Anniversary Campaign includes many other aspects of the campus as well including athletics, Diversity Forum, Mock Trial, the Fine Arts Program, and much more. Consider your area of interest and make a gift that will make a difference!
