For 32 years, Lake Ridge Academy students, faculty and staff have come together to raise funds, collect food and clothing donations, and purchase gifts for needy Lorain County families during its three-week long Holiday Project. Today, the entire school counted, packaged and delivered donations to Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lorain, Ohio. This year, the Holiday Project provided 25,000 cans of food (the highest can tally in school history), over $1,500 dollars in monetary donations, and 100 gifts for children, much of which is distributed during the church’s annual Three Kings Celebration. The surplus will stock the church’s food pantry for 9 months and free clothing store. This meaningful school tradition is special to our entire community and a wonderful way to celebate the holiday season.
