Class of 2020 Graduation

Styled as a drive-in graduation, Lake Ridge Academy seniors were celebrated by their teachers and faculty safely from the comfort of their own cars during commencement ceremonies held on May 30. The 50 seniors were still able to have traditional portions of the ceremony, like speeches from the valedictorian (Kira ‘20) and salutatorian (Ryan ’20) and receiving their diploma. However, unique differences like fireworks, socially distanced cars, and including international students back in China via Zoom calls made this graduation ceremony forever memorable. To be able to hold a safe ceremony for the seniors has been a goal of the faculty and staff since March. Congratulations to the Class of 2020!
