Two Mock Trial Teams Advance to State Competition

On February 7th, Lake Ridge's Mock Trial team competed in the Cuyahoga County regional Mock Trial competition at the Justice Center in Cleveland. Lake Ridge Academy is proud to congratulate two teams that will be moving on to the Ohio state competition after winning its regional trials and receiving several awards. They represent two of four teams that advanced from a field of 14 highly competitive teams. This is the eighth consecutive year that Lake Ridge Academy has advanced a team to the state-level. Moreover, this is the first time in over 10 years that two teams from Lake Ridge are moving on to the state level competition which begins March 12 in Columbus.

Members of the Blue Team are: Paul Jonathan Yoo ‘20, Sunny Saini ’21, Pablo Pineda ’21, Jessie Shi '20, Addie Wisniewski ’20, Adrienne Chan ‘21, and Michelle Zhang ‘20.

Members of the Purple Team are: Joel Lacoste ’22, Tanish Makdia ‘22, Alex Sandhu ’22, Judy Zhu ’ 21, Tyler Young ‘22, Aashna Lakkaraju ‘22, Zane Haidar ‘22, Oliver Lagasse ‘20, and Matt South’ 20.
