Boomerang Ninja Visits LRA

Today we had the pleasure of having Logan Broadbent, the world's second-ranked boomerang competitor and three-time American Ninja Warrior contestant(known as the Boomerang Ninja), visit our school. Logan went to several classes today to discuss the relationship between boomerangs and academics, particularly as they relate to history, math and engineering.

At an all-school assembly, Logan showed off his amazing boomerang throwing skills, along with sharing more of his knowledge of boomerang history, its mechanics, and encouraging the students to follow their passion to achieve personal success. Logan's visit was made possible through a 2018 Auction Gala donation that was secured by Rockell Churby Llanos and offered by Gary Broadbent (Logan's father). We are very grateful for the experience and appreciate the school-wide donation so much!
