Six Juniors Entering 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program

Six Lake Ridge Academy juniors were named as eligible participants in the 2020 National Merit Scholarship Program based upon their scores on the 2018 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. With a Selection Index score of 212 or above, these high performers have shown outstanding academic potential. From approximately 1.6 million program entrants, each of these students is among the 50,000 highest-scoring participants who will be recognized this fall as either National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists or Commended Scholars.

Congratulations to Carter English, Kira FitzGerald, John Harrington, Ryan Rosu, Connie Tian, and PJ Yoo! Their accomplishment equates to 11% of the LRA junior class receiving National Merit recognition! We look forward to hearing more news this fall!
