Three Varsity Baseball Players Participate in College Signing Day

Lake Ridge Academy's Athletic Department held a signing ceremony this week to congratulate three senior baseball players who will continue their baseball careers at the collegiate level this fall. Parents, faculty, coaches, teammates and classmates all joined Athletic Director Peter Eckendorf to honor these remarkable student-athletes.

Jake Roach will play men's baseball at Trine University. Jake is an outfielder and pitcher for the team and has earned numerous baseball awards including being named a three-time All County First Team, two-time All District First Team, All Ohio Second Team, and Lake Effect Conference First Team.

Cole Bramhall will play men's baseball at Haverford College. Cole is a starting pitcher for the team and has earned numerous baseball awards including being named a three-time All County First Team, two time All District Honorable Mention, and Lake Effect Conference First Team.

Ian Ashby will play men's baseball at Oberlin College and Conservatory. Ian is the first baseman and pitcher for the team and has earned numerous baseball awards including being named a three-time All County First Team, two-time All District Honorable Mention, and Lake Effect Conference First Team.

The Lake Ridge Academy varsity baseball team is currently ranked third in Ohio in Division IV. The team is coached by Jason Dimacchia.
