Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur Of The Year Award
Carol Klimas, President of Lake Ridge Academy, is a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2013 Award in Northeast Ohio. The awards program recognizes high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. These finalists were selected from over 90 nominations by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 27, 2013 at the Marriott Cleveland Downtown. Lake Ridge Academy Senior to be Honored at Carnegie Hall
Congratulations to Lake Ridge Academy senior, Garrett Wright, whose sculpture “Surge” was recently awarded a National American Vision Award. Last January, Garrett, and Lake Ridge Academy sophomore Madison Hart, were two of only five “best in show” regional winners at the Scholastic Art Exhibition. This allowed their artwork to go on for further judging in New York. Garrett’s award winning sculpture, “Surge”, will be one of a select few pieces on display at the Pratt Manhattan Gallery (New York City) in June. In May, Garrett will be honored, along with the other National American Vision Award winners, at a special ceremony at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
