Director of Advancement
The new Director of Advancement will report to the Head of School, be a member of the Senior Leadership team, and will regularly present to, and interact with, our Board of Directors as well as our Board Committee for Advancement. Lake Ridge Academy seeks a highly collaborative, dynamic, and experienced leader to serve as Director of Advancement, starting no later than July of 2021. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all development efforts of the school, including but not limited to the Annual Fund, events (including our Annual Gala, golf outing, and campus events), and our 60th Anniversary Campaign. The Director of Advancement will also be responsible for leading the execution of our strategic plan, and for establishing and reporting against benchmarks to that plan. In addition, he or she will lead the Advancement team to oversee our alumni relationships, non-academic external partnerships, and project planning and execution. Custodial and Cleaning Worker – Part-Time Night Shift
A custodial/cleaning worker reports directly to the cleaning supervisor and is responsible for performing a wide variety of custodial and cleaning duties in order to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment. The skills and knowledge required for this would generally be obtained with previous experience in building cleaning and custodial work. The employee performs regular cleaning of campus facilities, and responds to emergency calls for service; implements setup and takedown for a wide variety of campus and community events; works closely with employees and the public to meet the custodial needs of the area; and resolves problems to ensure efficient and safe operations. This is a part-time non-exempt position, with typical hours between 5:00pm – 10:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Job requirements include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of experience in custodial and cleaning work. School Bus Drivers
Lake Ridge Academy, an independent K-12 college preparatory school, is seeking route and substitute bus drivers. Duties could include regular route coverage as well as afternoon athletic trips. The attendance of all mandatory training as recommended by the state and our school is required. Interested parties must possess a valid Ohio class B school bus driver’s license with air brake endorsement and a current Ohio Pre Service School Bus Driving Certificate. Candidates will be subject to all federal, state and local background checks. Pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing are mandatory.
