Head Volleyball Coach

Lake Ridge Academy (Div IV, North Ridgeville) is currently seeking a Head Volleyball Coach. The ideal candidate should have a successful coaching background at the high school and/or college level and be able to coach all levels of talent. Interested candidates should be able to maintain and build upon an established winning culture and support the college recruiting process where needed. Applicants will be required to obtain all required OHSAA and ODE certifications. This is a seasonal position, starting August 1, 2021 and ending November 12, 2021.

Assistant Director of Marketing

Lake Ridge Academy has an immediate opening for an Assistant Director of Marketing. This person is responsible for creating an accurate and compelling school narrative and implementing effective story-telling across multiple platforms. The Assistant Director will report to the Director of Enrollment Management, and be part of the Enrollment Management unit that includes the Director of Enrollment Management, two Assistant Directors of Admissions, and a Receptionist.

Primary job functions: Develop and implement an annual marketing plan and editorial calendar that leverages inbound and outbound marketing principles and generates new and evergreen content to reach core constituents.
Curate and create content for Lake Ridge audiences ( current domestic and international students and families, prospective domestic and international students and families, donors, community partners, alumni). Content areas include marketing (email campaigns, social media blog posts, brochures), development (video production, events, campaigns, appeals), and more. Collaborate with in-house resources and outside partners to develop an integrated marketing strategy including video, photography, print ads, billboards, and web stories to strengthen lead generation and conversions to support Admissions and the overall school brand. Support the Advancement team’s fundraising activities with collateral for donor and constituent communications, including content creation for the upcoming 60th anniversary capital campaign. Build strong relationships with academic divisions, faculty, and staff to curate a steady stream of content through regular outreach and respond to their unique marketing needs. Examples include the marketing of summer camps, promotion of athletic events, and college counseling promotional collateral. Manage and monitor the school’s social media accounts to ensure regular engaging and informational content. Develop a proactive media strategy that includes regular pitching to local outlets. Recommends and manages all community/event sponsorship engagements, including signage and booth execution. Manage and maintain the school website and mobile app. Manage external vendors and agencies, including photographers, graphic designers, videographers, printers, and SEO support. Minimum Requirements 4-year college degree Proven experience representing brands or organizations on a variety of social media platforms Excellent verbal and written skills, especially the ability to write and edit lengthy publications and short ad copy. Ability to effectively multi-task, collaborate across different units, and prioritize. Experience with videography, photography, and digital editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite Understanding of content management systems Understanding of graphic design elements and trends. AP Economics Teacher

Lake Ridge Academy, an independent K-12 college preparatory school, is seeking a part-time Advanced Placement Microeconomics and Macroeconomics teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. As a member of the LRA Upper School Social Studies Department, the instructor will be responsible for designing curricula for one section of AP Microeconomics (in the fall) and one section of AP Macroeconomics (in the spring) with the goal of preparing students for the Advanced Placement examinations. The classes will meet from 2:45 - 3:30 pm five days out of a six-day cycle, with a double period (1:55-3:30 pm) available once per cycle at the instructor’s discretion. We welcome applicants who have experience teaching introductory economics at a college level, as an adjunct professor or instructor, or have previous experience teaching AP Economics. Experience teaching the Advanced Placement curriculum in both subjects is desirable but not required; Lake Ridge Academy will send the successful candidate to an AP Summer Institute (likely an online one given the current environment) to help prepare him or her, if necessary.

Custodial and Cleaning Worker – Part-Time Night Shift

A custodial/cleaning worker reports directly to the cleaning supervisor and is responsible for performing a wide variety of custodial and cleaning duties in order to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment. The skills and knowledge required for this would generally be obtained with previous experience in building cleaning and custodial work. The employee performs regular cleaning of campus facilities, and responds to emergency calls for service; implements setup and takedown for a wide variety of campus and community events; works closely with employees and the public to meet the custodial needs of the area; and resolves problems to ensure efficient and safe operations. This is a part-time non-exempt position, with typical hours between 5:00pm – 10:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Job requirements include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of experience in custodial and cleaning work. School Bus Drivers

Lake Ridge Academy, an independent K-12 college preparatory school, is seeking route and substitute bus drivers. Duties could include regular route coverage as well as afternoon athletic trips. The attendance of all mandatory training as recommended by the state and our school is required. Interested parties must possess a valid Ohio class B school bus driver’s license with air brake endorsement and a current Ohio Pre Service School Bus Driving Certificate. Candidates will be subject to all federal, state and local background checks. Pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing are mandatory.
