Meet our Athletic Trainer Julie Hales, LAT, ATC, PTA

Julie earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Bowling Green State University. She majored in Sport Management with an emphasis in Athletic Training. She went on to Kent State University to earn her Master of Arts in Sport Administration and Marketing. At Kent State, she served as the Athletic Trainer for Women's Soccer, Women's Basketball and was the supervising ATC for Men's and Women’s Indoor/Outdoor Track and Field. She is board certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association and licensed in the State of Ohio since 1998. Additionally, Julie has an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant Technology and is licensed in Ohio as a PTA. She works part-time at St. John Medical Center, Elyria Medical Center, and Ahuja Medical Center in their Acute Care Inpatient Rehabilitation departments.

Julie has served as Lake Ridge Academy's athletic trainer since 2008. She lives in North Ridgeville with her husband and two children.
