The best way to learn more about Lake Ridge Academy is to visit us! We offer several ways to tour our campus and get to know our community.
Individual Campus Tours
Individual campus tours are a great way to experience the Lake Ridge Academy difference first-hand. Tours are offered weekdays during school hours by our admission department. Your visit will include a campus tour with the opportunity to see classrooms and students in action, and meet faculty. K-12 Open Houses
Open houses are another wonderful opportunity to learn about Lake Ridge Academy. Campus tours are hosted by current families, students, and alumni, and our faculty is on hand to share information and to answer your questions. This year's open houses are scheduled for October 20, 2019, January 26, 2020, and April 5, 2020. To register to attend an open house, complete the online registration form, call or email the admission office.

For Grades 1-11, the admissions application process involves the following:
- Online application
- Teacher recommendation(s), requested through the online application
- Student questionnaire for grades 6-11, available through the online application
- Release of school records
- Application for financial aid and scholarships, if applicable
Applicants to the Lower School (grades 1-5) will complete in-class assessments during their shadow day including literacy and math assessments. Applicants to fourth and fifth grade will return for an additional testing day during which achievement and aptitude measures will be administered.
Applicants to Middle School or Upper School (grades 6-11) will sit for the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). Lake Ridge Academy is one of many ISEE test sites and our school code is 363857 if you plan to test here. A schedule of all available ISEE test dates, locations, deadlines and registration information is available by visiting the ISEE website.

Shadow days are a wonderful opportunity for your student to truly feel what it's like to attend Lake Ridge Academy.
Lower School applicants to grades 1-5 will spend a full day in a current-grade classroom, and are paired with a student ambassador who will help your child enjoy a typical school day.
Middle School and Upper School applicants will also spend a full day attending relevant classes and activities, meeting faculty and peers, and will be paired with a student ambassador based upon their shared interests.
Once the application process is completed and reviewed by our Admission Committee, families are notified of the committee's decision or are notified that more information is needed before a decision can be reached. Enrollment contracts are issued and space is reserved on a first-come basis determined by the date stamp on the return of the completed contract and deposit. Waitlisted students will be notified as space becomes available.
